Holiday season white elephant party
Often a chance to give away something absurd or regift something received the previous holiday season. Those wishing to participate bring wrapped gifts that can be placed under a Christmas tree, on a table, etc., then those attendees draw numbers to determine the order in which to select gifts.
Dirty Santa
Depending on the size of your venue, participants should arrange themselves in order to hear the emcee calling out numbers. When selected, encourage them to open their gift for all to see.
Yankee swap party
One variation of the white elephant party has the initial person to open a gift wait for the second to decide whether or not to “steal” that first gift or opt to open a different one, and then so on and so forth until the final person’s turn.

Get the word out
Depending on a particular year's holiday calendar, plan your event well before Christmas or perhaps shortly afterwards so people can regift something they just received.
Make it festive
Deck the halls and make your venue a place all will want to visit, decorate a X-mas tree and string up some lights.
Make it cheery
Eggnog with rum, mulled or spiced wine (also known Glühwein), and holiday treats will help your guests have a happy holiday season.
